Discover Thai Ha PHO: A Must-Eat Restaurant in Budapest

The restaurant's name is Thai Ha Pho (Vietnam Bistro & Diner).
 
Everyone was puzzled that we were eating Thai food in Budapest, but Thai Ha Pho is recommended by locals in Budapest. This is one of the best local restaurants in Budapest.

There were indoor seats, but the outdoor air was cool, so we chose to sit outside. It's fun to watch people passing by when you sit outside.

We ordered a local beer(Dreher beer), It is a famous and popular brand in Hungary.
It was refreshing and enjoyable.😄
 
 
 

 
It was my first time trying Tom Yum, and it was slightly sour with a coconut flavor. I suspect it contained coconut milk or coconut butter. The soup included large mussels and cocktail shrimp, and it had more broth than I expected. (Now I understand why Google reviews mentioned it is not enough to be a full meal.) However, it was tasty enough that I kept drinking the broth.
 
 
 

 
The second dish was a set of fried shrimp with stir-fried vegetables and stir-fried noodles. (I didn't read the menu name accurately, but I think it was something like that.) When you order the set menu, you can choose between stir-fried noodles or fried rice. I chose the noodles because fried rice feels too heavy for dinner.
 
The stir-fried noodles were well-seasoned and not overly greasy or heavy.
While one bowl of Tom Yum soup wasn't enough, the set menu had enough food for both of us. 
 

 

 
The stir-fried vegetables with fried shrimps were very delicious. The vegetables were crispy and fresh, with a savory seasoning that paired well with the beer. 
The vegetables paired better with the beer than the fried shrimps.
 
Including two bottles of beer, the total cost was 8,100 HUF, which was reasonable for the good atmosphere and satisfying meal.
